Sept 18, 2009- Hear how the APSI Broadband Program is impacting lives in Charlotte, NC by certifying young adults through the Urban League of Central Carolina’s Summer Youth Employment Program.  The Urban League Summer Youth Employment Program provided students with globally recognized certifications through APSI as part of the city’s first American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  See how the training program changed Dante Clayburn’s life while being interviewed by News 36. September 28, 2009-APSI and Mike Minter begin to develop new marketing strategies for the Mike Minter Workforce Development Program.  Strategies include new website, Television Commercial, personal appearances and speaking engagements for the unemployed and dislocated workers in the region.

October 5, 2009-APSI signs agreement with Chattanooga State College in TN to provide Broadband, Networking and Solar Courses in 2010.

October 12, 2009-APSI executives will be playing in the Rowan Cabarrus Community College Golf Tournament at Davis Love III Golf Course in Concord.

October 13, 2009- APSI will be conducting a Seminar for displaced workers at Rowan Cabarrus Community College (RCCC).  The seminar will be held at the Technology Center.  This seminar will cover Broadband Technologies, APSI’s new Broadband Networking Program offered through the Cisco Networking Academy, the new 2010 Solar Installation Certification and upcoming classes in the Cabarrus County area.

October 29, 2009-APSI staff executives will be taking young executives to the “Get Motivated” business seminar at the Time Warner Arena.  Speakers of the seminar are: Gen. Collin Powell, Mayor Gulliani, Former First Lady Barbara Bush and motivational speaker Zig Ziggler.  APSI will be selecting young professionals to attend this program through ESC/Job Link Centers, Urban League of Central Carolinas and Non-Profit Organizations throughout Charlotte, NC.
